Flawless Honda CB450 Dream on S. Congress Ave

Flawless Honda 450.
Wiki: " The Honda CB450 was the first "big" Honda motorcycle with a 444cc dual overhead cam engine producing 43-45 horsepower (more than 100 HP/ litre). Appearing first in the 1965 four-speed K0 model, and progressing through a series of KX models with various improvements and styling changes, notably a redesigned gas tank and 5 speed transmission in the 1968 K1 model."

My girl, Carmen reflected in the tank, her PJ's visible (she's 15 - whatcha gonna do?).

Antique Motorcycle at Father's Day Car Show

I've gone to this annual car show for several years and it gets better each year.

New Vintage 500cc Royal Enfield at new Food Trailer on S. 1st St.

Located at S. 1st and Live Oak, proprietor of new food trailer parks his new Royal Enfield in front. Calls his eatery 'Cafe Racer'. Said the this new single cylinder bike was built in India by Royal Enfield (a venerable British biker maker) just like the original, including drum brakes. Very pretty bike.

Since I stopped to ask about the bike, felt I needed to order and had a Triton (name of a Triumph motorcycle) burger and it was really, really good. Best burger I've had in memory made even better 'Mom's' sauce. Even a really good bun.

He is a sponsor of the Manchaca Moto Classic Swap Meet, Sunday, April 18. at Giddy Ups, 12010 Manchaca.

Check out Cafe Racer's food.

My Honda! S90, and a CB160(?) an unfilled desire

My first motorized wheels was a new red S90 when I was 14. It was a lovely bike. Both of these were spotted downtown. Why together? The CB160 made a great snarling sound. And both in really good condition. SWEET!

Triumph

Guessing late 70's or 80's because of the disk brakes. 750cc??? Not quite the 60's classic but probably better. Love the sound.

Disc brakes, so not from the classic period of 60's. Still, very nice.
Found on N. Lamar Goodwill.
