I have a particular fondness for MB diesels, having owned a couple:

A 1968 200D (last half year of the fintail), red with a white painted top. When I bought it in the trunk there were two 35 gallon tanks for a range of maybe 2500 miles. Used car salesman said it was used by a evangelist from Oral Roberts for his Mexican travels. I had the auto changed to four speed. Great car.

Also had a grey market 1981 MB 300D wagon with five cylinder.

Roller for sale for $15k at First Honda at 2222. The 1970's were the nadir for Rolls with incredibly bad quality. Pretty nice looking except for the rug on the dash. Wonder if they offer their typical 30 day warranty on this car.

Found at Home Depot at S. IH-35. Met the owner as I was taking the pics. He had a very serious political message saying that our democracy has been flawed from the beginning, and that our leaders are dupes. Sign me up for the newsletter.
